Travel support

A limited amount of travel support is available, with priority given to PhD and postdoctoral students.

Each individual application is attached to a workshop that is selected by the applicant.

Applications should be submitted at the latest on March 12, 2023.

The decision on the application will be communicated at the latest on April 9, 2023, based on the recommendation of the workshop organizers.

Travel support for non US-based participants

Applications for travel support by non US-based participants should be sent by email before March 12, 2023 to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Any application should include:

  1. A letter explaining your interest in attending the conference, providing rationale for the request with estimated travel and/or accommodation costs for which support is requested.
  2. A CV (2-4 pages max) including list of publications, date (or expected date) of the award of your PhD, your advisor's name, and a short short description of your research interests.
  3. The name of the workshop that you would like your application to be attached to.
  4. Mention your status in this workshop : speaker, poster contributor, collaborator of a speaker, or attending.
  5. For PhD students, a recommendation letter sent directly by the PhD advisor

The organization committee will consult the workshop organizers on the applications, and notify the selected applicants on the maximal amount that can be allocated to them. Reimbursements will be processed upon receipts, after participation to the conference.

Travel support for US-based participants

Applications for travel support by US-based participants should be sent by email before March 12, 2023 to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

For all email communications, please, use a subject line with your information in the format:  [Family name], [Given name]: [workshop period and number].

Applicants should first fill an online form.

After receiving an e-mail with the completed form, the applicant should forward it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. changing the subject line as above and attaching two pdf files:

  1. A short CV including a list of selected publications (1-2 pages max).

  2. A short statement of research emphasizing the relevance to the workshop (1-2 pages max).
